Leasing Questions

We offer two types of leases: joint & several lease and by the room lease.

Residents of Farmer’s Exchange receive internet service included with their rent. Electricity must be set up by residents separately at their own cost if the resident has a J&S lease. Other utilities like water and trash will be added to your rent.

Each lease at Farmer’s Exchange is for a 12 month term. Residents are given first option to renew their apartment for another 12 month term. We may offer at times August to January and January to August lease. 

The first step is to complete the leasing application. Once that is complete, a member of our team will contact you with instructions on how to access and sign the lease. The following charges are applicable per lease: $75 application fee, $200 administrative fee, and security deposit equal to one month’s rent.

Yes – each apartment comes standard with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. Free use of washer and dryer are available in the laundry facility in our building. 

Rent is due on the 1st of the month and is considered late after 5PM on the 4th. We offer each resident a grace period between the 1st and the 4th to pay their rent with no late fees if paid during that time period.

Yes, Farmer’s Exchange allows only cats, but all pets must be approved by management. Roommates and pet owner must pay a non-refundable pet fee.

Farmer’s Exchange is located across the street from campus.

Currently Farmer’s Exchange does not offer furnished apartments.

Limited on-site and limited off-site are available for an additional monthly fee. Parking fees range from $45 to $150 per month.
